Evergreen, Alabama is a quiet southern town about halfway between Mobile and Montgomery just off Interstate 65. I use this exit location as my "stop and take a break" when traveling up and down the interstate. It was years of just stopping at the restaurants and gas stations just off the interstate before I actually ventured into this lovely downtown district. Now that I have visited this beautiful town, I cannot understand why I waited so long.
