Thomas Elbers (@kypski) is a six-time Dutch scratching champion who reinvented himself through Syntablism, a unique fusion of modular synthesis and turntablism. Add to that the list of musicians he has worked with, ranging from Philip Glass to Han Bennink, and from the Metropole Orchestra to Kyteman.
Together with Bart van de Werken (@kubusvonkubus) (Opgezwolle, Sticks, DuvelDuvel, and more), he forms KROON. They create a genre-fluid, bass-driven project that develops experimental music with modular synths as their crown jewels. This session serves as a tribute to Hajo Krijger, the initiator of KROON, who passed away suddenly.
