We’d like to introduce you to Daphne Mayer, our new Director of Business Development. She is a great resource for you as you seek out funding for your preservation and collections care projects. In this webinar, she will delve into some of the National Endowment for the Humanities’ (NEH) various grant programs. NEH advances scholarship, education, and public programming in the humanities by helping libraries, archives, museums, and historical organizations across the country steward important collections of books and manuscripts, photographs, sound recordings and moving images, archaeological and ethnographic artifacts, art and material culture, and digital objects. In particular, Daphne will highlight the upcoming Humanities Collections Reference Resources (HCRR) Grants and the Preservation Assistance Grants for Smaller Institutions. We'll discuss who is eligible, what kinds of projects are best suited to each program, and tips on developing compelling applications. There will also be time for questions you may have about whether these opportunities are right for your organization, although you can always reach out to Daphne directly to schedule a consultation.
This webinar addresses Focus Area #1: Strengthening public awareness and connections to new philanthropic opportunities of the Foundation for the Advancement in Conservation’s (FAIC) Held In Trust report on Field Sustainability, Infrastructure, and Sector Health.
