Charted at #3 in March 1922. Great song! Introduced by Fanny Brice in the "Ziegfeld Follies of 1921". Another version by Ted Lewis and His Band charted at #2. When Barbra Streisand played Fanny Brice in "Funny Girl", she recorded her own remake of "Second Hand Rose" which charted at #32 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1966 (#5 Adult Contemporary, #14 UK). Written by Grant Clarke and James F. Hanley. Recorded November 8, 1921.
The picture in the video was taken around 1915.
B-side is "My Man", which was Fanny's biggest hit, charting at #1.
