La muerte no es el final (Death is not the end) is a Catholic song composed by the Spanish priest Cesáreo Gabaráin Azurmendi (1936-1991). Its central passage was chosen in 1981 as the hymn to honor the fallen of the Spanish Armed Forces, and is sung before the eternal flame of the Monument to the Fallen for Spain.
