We have extensively discussed the application of ADS smith chart tool in analysing stability of our device, impedance matching and deciding upon gain using different type of gain circle available in ADS smith chart tool. In our follow-up lecture we will continue same example and demonstrate ADS optimization process and ADS layout basics.
In our Lecture 11, we have explained about microwave amplifier bilateral design method, here we have designed one maximum transducer gain amplifier using serenade simulation with the help of mild automation from matlab script. We also briefly discussed about smith chart matching, how to unilateral FOM and stability analysis using mu prime or other stability factor.
