Quia fecit mihi magna from Magnificat
Texts from The Gospel of Luke (Luke 1:39-56) and an anonymous medieval carol
Composed by John Rutter (1945-Present)
Translation:
Quia fecit mihi magna qui potens est:
et sanctum nomen eius.
Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus Dominus
Deus Sabaoth. Pleni sunt caeli et terra
gloria tua. Hosanna in excelsis.
For he that is mighty hath magnified me:
and holy is his name.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord
God of hosts. Heaven and earth are filled with
thy glory. Hosanna in the highest
