Today we’re talking about the first film of the animated Mahavatar Universe – Mahavatar Narsimha 🔥🔥

Let’s begin with the story…

Long ago, there was an arrogant king of demons – Hiranyakashyapu, who sought a boon from Lord Brahma to make him immortal:-

“I shall not die by man or animal…
Not during the day or night…
Not on land or in the sky…
Not inside the house or outside…
Not by weapons nor by arms…”


This boon made him invincible. He declared himself God.

But then was born Prahlad – in his own house, a true devotee of Lord Vishnu...
Prahlad’s unwavering faith, his devotion, and the torture he endured – the film depicts all this with deep emotion.

And then comes that powerful scene —
When Hiranyakashyapu asks:
“Where is your Vishnu?”
Prahlad replies: “He is everywhere – even in this pillar.”
The pillar breaks open… and appears — Mahavatar Narsimha!
Half-lion, half-man… and thus begins the destruction of evil 🔥🔥🔥

Friends, the film has many moments that touch your heart and soul 😍😍

Prahlad’s torture sequences – deeply emotional and visually powerful

The scene of Lord Varaha – full of goosebumps 💥💥

But the most powerful and goosebump-inducing scene – Narsimha’s entry and the climax battle 💥💥💥


Another beautiful moment is when Lord Vishnu meets Prahlad for the first time –
Trust me, it’ll bring tears to your eyes.

The music of the film also deserves praise. I especially loved two songs:-

"Roar of Narsingh" – with divine vocals by Aniruddh Sastry and Sam C.S.

"Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya" – a soulful rendition by Sanjith Hegde


These songs deepen your connection with the film.

Sam CS composed the BGM and music – and he’s done a phenomenal job.

The powerful background score gives people literal goosebumps!

Now, let’s talk about a few flaws:-

Some songs slow down the pace of the movie – all songs need to hit hard

The animation quality still has room for improvement


But these flaws don’t diminish the film’s message and emotional impact.

Now let’s talk about the most shocking aspect of this film —
Its box office collection!

Day 1 opening – just 1.75 crore INR…
But then, word of mouth worked miracles!

In 10 days, India collection crossed 90 crores,
Worldwide collection crossed 110 crores

This film has now become an All-Time Blockbuster!

And it happened because of:
Emotion + Devotion + Powerful Storytelling
