The doctors are doing a serial casting where they're in a mold for a certain period of time when they come out of the mold. It's key that they go right into an ankle foot orthosis. And that's something that Collier and Lawrence have the ability to do with their in-house fabrication.

When it comes to a custom fabrication of the ankle foot orthosis for these Children, there are a lot of elements and variables involved, including the materials that we use, the design of the ankle foot prosthesis and then the proper fabrication of the straps to make sure that we get everything properly aligned so that we maintain the child's foot in a corrected position while they're being active walking around crawling.

We can scan and fabricate a device quicker than most places. And it also allows us to be detailed in our fabrication process because every child is a little bit different. We have to make sure that we're really spot on with a foot this size.
