Tuning Review | SONY XAV-9000ES using Parametric EQ + Graphic EQ | RTA Results

This is my in depth review of my tuning experience with the SONY XAV-9000ES. I had the Sony XAV-9000ES installed in my 2014 Wrangler in summer 2024 and each day it is an absolute treat to listen to my music and rediscover my library. When I listen to the Sony XAV-9000ES I am transported back in time by my music. It carries me back to simpler times in my life that were shared with loved ones who are no longer with us. It's been a deeply profound experience and I genuinely look forward to driving my car every day to listen to this stereo.

In this video we take a deep dive through John and I's overall experience using the parametric EQ and graphic EQ complete with before and after on the RTA. I will walk you through the method that our shop uses for properly setting the EQ, not only in the Sony XAV-9000ES, but in general what our target RTA curve is.
