The Path of Souls in Native American Mound Cultures and the Missihuasca Hypothesis with P. D. Newman

P. D. "Danny" Newman is author of Alchemically Stoned: The Psychedelic Secret of Freemasonry, Angels in Vermilion: The Philosopher's Stone from Dee to DMT, and Theurgy: Theory and Practice – The Mysteries of the Ascent to the Divine. His newest book is Tripping the Trail of Ghosts: Psychedelics and the Afterlife Journey in Native American Mound Cultures. He is a 32nd degree master mason.

Here he describes the many remarkable Mounds built by the Native American Mississippian Cultures, approximately a thousand years ago. These mounds were for purposes of burial, and also for preserving the cultural myths concerning the afterlife. Archeologists have uncovered many beautiful artifacts attesting to the skill and craftsmanship of these cultures. Newman describes the journey of souls. He also explains the use of entheogens and his hypothesis that the native Americans had cultivated an analog of ayahuasca.
