Thornlie Line: 1 More Day

In this special episode of the Thornlie–Cockburn Line: East–West Line series, we take you on a full journey along the original Thornlie Line, running from Thornlie Station to Perth Station — just before it gets transformed forever.

First opened in 2005, this spur line off the Armadale Line has served the southeastern suburbs for nearly two decades. But with the upcoming Thornlie–Cockburn Link under METRONET, the line will soon be extended west to Cockburn Central, becoming a key piece of Perth’s East–West rail corridor.

This ride gives you a last look at the original route in full — short, unique, and soon to be part of something much bigger.
