One of the best road trips in the Middle East is the road between Ehden (North Lebanon) and Baalbek (Bekaa, Lebanon). Mountainous, but safe, it is about 75 km long and the drive can be done in about an hour and a half.
Following this road we passed through Baghlet Bsharre, Cedars of God, Mkaybel El Qalaa, Aainata, Deir El Ahmar, (took a detour to visit Bechouat), Betdaai, Iaat, Baalbek.
On our way back, we stopped to have lunch at Aayoun Orghosh where you will find a number of good restaurants...
