Black Atheist - Nihilism, Truth, and Purpose

One thing, I think, that believers struggle to understand is how I as a nonbeliever find the will each and every day to live even though I don’t believe in a god. From where do I derive my purpose in life if not from a spiritual entity? Then people start throwing the word nihilist around. A label that is tied to almost as many negative connotations as the label atheist is. And I’ll admit my initial reaction was to immediately start trying to explain to myself why I wasn’t one. I get so wrapped up in trying to prove that I have meaning in my life that I get distracted from the point. Which is that, nihilist or not, just feeling like a certain belief gives you purpose in life is not enough to claim that said belief is true. I have more words to say on this and since you know no one in this universe asked for my opinion I of course decided to share anyways. Bear with me please.
