Pt. Santosh Banerjee (1931-2019), was a virtuoso Surbahar/Sitar player belonging to the Senia Gharana. He was a disciple of the great Beenkar Ut. Mohd. Dabir Khan for 20+ years, and was likely the only practitioner of the Dhrupad Been Ang on the Surbahar. He spent most of his life teaching in Kolkata and has made one or two albums.
