Yamaha DGX 670 Review - Here is my quick review of the Yamaha DGX 670 digital grand piano.

Yamaha DGX 670 Sounds and Voices - I also demo ALL the sounds and voices on this digital piano. There are apparently over 600 different sounds/voices on this so I thought why not try them all out and show you guys!

NOTES:
This is a Yamaha DGX 670 digital portable grand piano. It is kind of hybrid digital piano that gives you a plethora of voices, styles and accompaniments if you want to get creative.


As a piano I think it could be a bit better - as an arranger keyboard it is very good I think. When you consider what you are getting for the price, I think it is a smashing deal.


Unfortunately for me it is not the piano I was hoping for. So I am thinking of returning it and instead going for the P515 piano + a separate keyboard instead. Bear in mind this will cost me ALOT more money, but I feel that the piano should really feel better to play.


Perhaps if they included the GH3 keybed instead of the GHS, I may have taken the bait and kept this piano.


But I am trying to get back into piano at the moment and playing things like scales, arpeggios, Hanon exercises etc, becomes a bit annoying and tiring for me on this piano.

I anticipate many people will ask me this (some have already) - If you are after a piano from Yamaha's range, then another competitor with the DGX 670 would be the P515. The P515 is a bit more expensive, has less features, but the focus is more on the quality of the piano itself.


Perhaps I will make a video about this in the future. We will have to see when my P515 arrives!
