Weekly Tech Update 6th Jan 2025: How to Fix the Windows 11 File Explorer Glitch (Version 24H2)

Have you recently updated to Windows 11 version 24H2 and noticed something strange in File Explorer? The “See more” menu – marked by three little dots – isn’t behaving as it should. Instead of appearing below your cursor, it’s flying to the top of the screen or disappearing altogether, especially in full-screen mode. 😤

📋 What’s the Issue?

The “See more” menu options like “Select All” or “View Properties” are misplaced.
Full-screen mode hides some menu options completely.
💡 Simple Workaround:

Switch File Explorer to windowed mode by clicking the square icon in the top-right corner (next to the “X”).
Resize the window so you can access the “See more” menu, even if it’s still acting up.
The good news? Microsoft is aware of the glitch and working on a fix!
