This is PART2 of the three part presentation. This part covers two module access techniques; BDM (Background Debugger Mode) and BOOT MODE. We describe how each works and the technology employed by both. We cover the reason each is used and the positive aspects of each interface and why you would choose one over the other.
We cover why BDM does not use the CAN BUS and why BOOT MODE does not use CAN BUS commands. We also address the speed differences between the two techniques.
