Pretty much in the same fashion of the previous GTA4 video uploaded previously, this is another attempt at showing what the famous iCEnhancer mod is really capable of. I was glad to notice how plenty of viewers became motivated and teased by the previous upload, enough to go through the hassle of configuring everything in order to get the thing running. It even made people take the step to finally think seriously about getting a gaming rig, so, here's a longer, less lazy video, with simple edition, to cut out the plain RAW mood of the other version, showing a much higher level of content variety to, hopefully, excite viewers even more, after noticing exactly what iCEnhancer can do for your game, in action, driving, day or night.
On a curious note, some gamers who were worried about the mod being too demanding, expressed their surprise about how the mod wasn't even 1GB large, and over that, not only the game looked much better, it actually fixed issues that the original version had for being a rushed port of the console versions, such as missing textures, flickering black shadows, slow loading road and building textures and an extreme framerate drop if the shadows settings were on the highest possible setting.
GTA4 with iCEnhancer 1.25 applied, plus high definition road textures, real life ADs, custom real weapon gunshots and a bunch of other custom textures. All vehicles are the original ones from the game. I tried adding custom cars like Renaults, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Fords, etc but for some reason it would corrupt something resulting in the same 2 cars spawning all over the map (whole city became invaded by Taxis, Cop cars, Range Rovers and Subaru Imprezas).
I followed some mod suggestions (such as gun sounds, higher resolution roads, real life ADs and signs) from the iCEnhancer creator's blog, http://icelaglace.wordpress.com/
iCEnhancer alone is enough to make it look like this though.
Excuse the framerate stuttering at times, Fraps insists on hating me when capturing 1080p if all the settings are maxed out. The game runs at 46~47fps. Fraps makes it drop to around 26fps, and it dips as low as 14fps when it starts raping the system :P
Rigged with an i7 2600K (4 cores / 3.4GHz), AMD Radeon HD 6950 and 8GB RAM
Enjoy!
