The 2nd Annual "Gathering of the Nobody's!" It all Happened April 26th, 2025 & it was a Blast!

The 2nd annual "Gathering of the Nobody's" took place the weekend of April 26th here in Great Bend, KS. This event started last year as a way for viewers that hang out on the channel to meet, hang out, check out the yard, and have some fun!!!!
We had a couple of new activities at this years gathering. Like last year, our weekend started off Friday evening at Dry Lake Brewing here in Great Bend. My buddy Ryan really takes care of us by allowing us to use his party room at the brewery so the Nobody's all have a place to hang. On Saturday morning, we took a different direction first thing. We left early and headed west to see our good friends at Carr Auction & Real Estate in Larned, KS. They had some cool cans, grease caps, literature, license plates and some other cool gearhead memorabilia that they were going to sell that morning, so all of us Nobody's headed over to the auction for some live Auction Action!!! Around mid morning, we headed back to the yard, at least most of us did!!!! Baylon Wire's Old Iron was having too much fun buying too much cool stuff, I honestly didn't know if we would see him again!!! He did finally make it to the yard, just a few hours later than everyone else!!! It was raining at the yard when we got back, but that was OK because my buddy Mark was there a little after 11:00 with a mountain of smoked brisket, corn, beans, and even mac & cheese!!!! It was definitely a feast for the Nobody's!!! By the time we finished with lunch, the rain was subsiding and everyone was able to spend some time checking out some of the old iron in the yard!!!! It was a fun weekend and based on the feedback, most of which started with the phrase "let's try this next year!" it does look like there may be a 3rd "Gathering of the Nobody's" next year!!!
