This video gives information on how to protect your baby from RSV through vaccination in pregnancy.
The RSV vaccine helps reduce the risk of a common infection called respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) causing serious problems such as bronchiolitis. The vaccine is available on the NHS from 28 weeks of pregnancy. This will help protect your baby for the first few months after they're born.
RSV vaccination appointments are available in Leeds from 28 weeks. Please call 0113 39 26792 to book your appointment. Phone lines are open between 8am and 4pm Monday-Friday.
Please speak to your midwife if you have any questions about the RSV vaccine. You can also find more detailed information in the guide to RSV vaccination for pregnant women on our website: https://www.leedsth.nhs.uk/services/m...
