LeBron staying in the game of the blowout against the Suns is even darker than you first realized. JJ sacrificed a real chance for the Lakers to win by favoring LeBron James and in doing so crapped on every other person on the team. Then again, he told us this is what he would do back when he was an ESPN analyst. He was auditioning for the job even back then.
Now, against the Raptors, JJ showed us this side again. They got lucky with the win, but LeBron went 4-17, had the worst shooting percentage on the entire team, including going 16% in the 4th. Don't pretend it was the right decision to keep LeBron in just because Rui saved his ass.
Although the Lakers scraped out a win against the Raptors, my video about JJ choosing LeBron over the team is even more pertinent. LeBron was terrible. Beyond terrible. He had the worst shooting percentage out of every Laker that set foot on the court tonight. That's 10 players!!!
And I posted at the end of the third period that despite LeBron's horrible play he would stay in the 4th chasing those points.
Turns out I was right. In the 4th period he starts off by missing 4 in a row. He sits briefly, comes back in, finally gets a layup that gets him up to 8 points so tries to score again and gets blocked. LeMedia is gonna wanna let him off the hook because he passed on the last shot. Stop it. LeBron doesn't want that shot, even with his scoring streak on the line the final shot is a sure miss for him. It's a shame that Hachimura saved the Lakers by making that shot because of the narrative it would give LeMedia pretending LeBron chose the team first and made the right play. Listen, they would have said he made the right play even if Hachimura missed. They would have said he made the right play if he took the shot and missed.
The reality is he went one for six in the fourth. He went from shooting a lousy 27 percent down to 16.6%
So we come back to the video I released to the members section earlier about JJ sacrificing the team for LeBron. Let's not pretend that JJ made the right move by leaving LeBron in. He was ass. He was terrible. The only shot he can make is a layup.
He's getting swatted. He keeps shooting 3's despite missing all of them. He ended 0-5 on the night. You fanboys are gonna pretend you wanted him taking the last shot. Stop it.
As a coach, you're telling me that you have the best interest of the team in mind when you leave some one in that is a defensive liability and is shooting poorly? It would be one thing if there weren't options. Ya know, like if the rest of the team was shooting poorly. Literally everyone was shooting better than him.
JJ escaped. LeBron escaped.
I did find on YouTube the end of the game so I saw LeBron walk off on his own while the rest of the team with his hands in the air as if he was the one who deserved praise. The rest of the team is around Rui and LeDelusional James is walking off on his own with his weird wide open mouth and wide eyes scream.
