Melodeon.net's tune of the month is Gilles Chabenat's tune Les Poules Huppées. I've always thought of this tune as a bourree, but here it is a mazurka. Being a 3-time tune, it fits nicely in more or less any 3-time format, waltz, mazurka, bourree, all good. Solas popularised this as a waltz, and call it by an anglicised name, Crested Hens.
Played on a Hohner Preciosa in Bb/Eb.
