Sheleana Aiyana is the founder of Rising Woman, a growing community of more than 4
million empowered individuals. Her training and immersion in couples facilitation,
inherited family trauma, family systems, conscious relationships, somatic healing, and
plant medicines inform her holistic approach to seeing relationships as a spiritual path.

In this episode, we discuss her book “Becoming the One: Heal Your Past, Transform
Your Relationship Patterns and Come Home to Yourself.” Sheleana shares the wisdom
she has gained along her journey, providing us with the tools to face and heal our own
past traumas, find our inner strength, and ultimately step into our greatest expression.
When we break the unhealthy patterns of our past and heal our hurts, we can show up
in our relationships as a whole person, rather than seeking the healing and wholeness
from our partners. This is the foundation of a conscious relationship. Sheleana’s path
has been deeply influenced by the shadows of childhood trauma, which she faced with
unwavering determination and courage. From a rather young age and as a result of an
earth-shattering heartbreak, she was forced to confront the pain of her past, refusing to
be defined by it and repeat it. Instead, she embarked on a transformative journey of
healing, using her experiences to fuel her pursuit of personal growth and self-
empowerment. Through her own struggles and triumphs, she found solace and
liberation in the realms of spirituality and self-expression.

Her story and learnings serve as a bright beacon of hope, illustrating that even in the
