This Yaesu FTDX-400 was purchased brand new in Australia in August of 1970. It's in completely original condition. All capacitors have passed the ESR test and random resistors I tested were all within tolerance. This unit is in immaculate condition for it's age and has quickly become an important part of my collection. It only needed a couple of new tubes in the audio stages, new Toshiba 6KD6 finals, a new ceramic capacitor in the ALC section and a realignment. I Just had a great weekend of local and DX contacts and look forward to many more with this fine peiece of history. 73 from VK2-XXL.
