'The Power of Yet': Students learn perseverance and positivity through music

Mr. Streck's fourth grade class was struggling with some lessons in the classroom. As a class, they looked for inspiring music to encourage them. That's when they came across CJ Luckey and discovered "The Power of Yet".
In a short time, CJ Luckey's 'The Power of Yet' became the class anthem, teaching perseverance, encouragement, and positivity. The song contributed to a mindset change -- the students knew they had to bring CJ Luckey to the school so all of Starr Elementary could benefit from his message.
Watch as CJ Luckey, CEO of the nonprofit CAPS (Celebrating All Persevering Students), talks to the students about "The Power of Yet" during his celebration visit. This simple but profound concept teaches them that even when faced with challenges, they can overcome them by believing in their own potential.
This is a testament to how one song and a group of determined students can foster a mindset of resilience that positively impacts their academic and personal lives.
