'I was inside the church': Eyewitness describes shooting at Michigan LDS church

A gunman opened fire inside a Michigan church during Sunday services before setting the building on fire, killing at least one person and injuring nine others, according to authorities.

Witness Paula, who was inside the church at the time, described the terrifying scene. She said she heard a “big bang” before running out, only to see the shooter firing shots. Paula called the experience “surreal,” adding that she came to worship and never expected to live through such violence. She said she lost friends in the attack and that children were among those hurt.
