Every year the Zuckerman Institute's Art in the Education Lab program commissions an artist to create an original artwork that will invite and inspire community members to explore science through an artistic lens. This year we are proud to present Sensory Bop by the interdisciplinary artist Sleepyfoot?, aka Manon Casimir-Sainton.
Sensory Bop is an audiovisual work inspired by in-depth conversations the artist had with numerous scientists at the Institute around the question of connectivity in the brain--particularly, how the different senses work together. Sleepyfoot? hopes the work will encourage the public to make more positive connections to the world by stimulating their senses.
