From the outside looking in, the ‪@rodemic‬ Streamer X is worth every penny but there's still alot left to be desired on the software side. Rode is working on releasing the Beta version for Unify for Macs, which will really unlock the full power of the Rode Streamer X. While still a great device, when paired with Rode Central, the Rode Streamer X seems to just fall flat with the basic features. As usual with Rode, we can expect alot of firmware updates to get the Rode Streamer X up to beast mode where it belongs! Yes it's still worth it but watch this before you buy!

💡 What I'd like to see ‪@rodemic‬ change in the Streamer X:
🎯 Get rid of all the different apps like Connect, Central & Unify and just go to one centralized app
🎯 Rode Central should allow us to have additional virtual channels just as with the Rodecaster Pro 2 and Rodecaster Duo
🎯 Rode Central should be as aesthetically intuitive as Unify
🎯 If Rode Central should be able to see any Rode device plugged into the computer even if you can only configure one at a time. For some reason, doesn't show up when RCPII is plugged up, as well
