Here’s what you need to know about me. My name in Oriane Dalmeida, I am a CPA, I live in Chicago and currently work in public accounting (Big 4). I created this YouTube channel to talk about my career and professional journey as a black woman in the finance/public accounting/corporate world and my lifestyle. There isn’t enough representation of successful black and/or female professionals in my field. I am easily the only black and female professional in the room and it can be intimidating. My younger self was constantly looking for someone that looked like her, someone that she could easily connect with and relate to. I mean for my YouTube channel to be a resource for women that may have the questions and doubts I had and still have.
