I don't think there was any debate as to who would play Jane Seymour, Henry VIII's favorite wife. After all, Fluttershy is Discord's favorite, and is the only one who sees the good in him, even when he messes up over and over again. I also think it's sad how despite Jane being Henry's favorite wife, we actually don't know that much about her, just that she was soft-spoken, never contradicted Henry, had the son he always wanted, and then died. And I suppose we'll never know if he truly loved her, or if he only said he did because she had the son. But her love definitely wasn't enough to change him as you know he had three wives after. Karma for Henry, tragedy for Jane.
