In this video I share a visit to the Ashford International Model Railway Education Centre (AIMREC) in Bethersden, Kent, where the newly opened AIMREC Collection offers 4,000 sq ft of exhibition space across two floors. This permanent home showcases classic layouts such as The Gresley Beat, Pempoul, Wouldham Town and Ravens Rock, alongside a wide variety of operating layouts, railway memorabilia, and the ever-popular 5-inch miniature railway, The Spitfire Line. With a well-stocked shop selling both new and quality secondhand items, and a café serving homemade cakes and pastries, AIMREC is a true destination for enthusiasts.
