Hi Travis and Suzy, So we just did a couple of 'fun' Fishbone songs. How about we do a few 'heavy' songs now? The beauty of Fishbone is that they could do a few fun ska songs, then totally go in a different direction and go super-heavy. Kids loved fishbone because they could dance and have fun, and also mosh and go totally crazy. Just an amazing live experience. For the life of me, i will never understand how fishbone never hit it big. I suppose it is because they were not 'radio-friendly,' and even their own label didn't know what to do with them. Are they punk, ska, rock, funk, r&b, or metal? Who the hell knows. and who cares? It is just great music. All I know is that they were, and still are, one of the best live bands out there. no one, and I mean no one, wanted to follow Fishbone. Wanna jump into the mosh pit and get down? Let's do this!
