RED AIM were one of - if not thee - first Stonerrock band/s from Germany. For sure they were among the first, world wide, to incorporate Indian Sitar-sounds among heavy riffs, which made them special for a long time, perhaps until groups like Om, Samsara Blues Experiment, Queen Elephantine and a few others brought this Indian influences back into heavy music realms, ... about ten years later!
These early Red Aim EP-recordings had a different line-up from their full-length albums, the singer was a different guy, and there was no organ like on their later, more straight-forward records. Needless to say, as with everything I upload here, I liked their music a lot back in those early days!
I'm just a fan, I don't own rights to this - but then I thought it's a shame that otherwise this is a lost chapter of underground music history. I was talking friendly with their drummer back in the early 2000s, so I hope in case the original band members stumble upon this, it's cool for them!
Please enjoy - and support music that you like, whenever you can.
