To be honest, I was feeling pretty comfortable and confident our whole sail from Florida down to the USVI's! On our over nights I very rarely had to wake Billy up and was finally feeling a little better about my ability to sail solo when we have to take shifts. However, I definitely took a few big steps backwards during all of our stress filled sailing while trying to avoid record breaking hurricane Beryl. I know that if we want to continue sailing the world I need to up my game to be able to keep loving this life and appreciating this mode of travel. So that is what you are joining us for today! I am getting more and more practice doing everything on the boat solo so I can have that little boost of I CAN DO THIS and I HAVE DONE THIS in those more sporty times. Give it up for Billy for always being the best sailing teacher!
