Greetings it's been so long, hasn't it? I totally did not forget about EoSD day!

I've been active but not really with anything personal. Being involved with CnD projects and also IRL things does siphon all the time that's available to me. That is to say that I don't procrastinate because that happens all the time.

This song is completed two weeks before EoSD day (11/8). It was part of a stream in the CnD server where I try to complete a song from start to finish. It took around 4 and a half hours which is a time that I think is fine and similar to ZUN's who has said he does tracks in 4 hours. (A record that I don't personally believe for every track that he did but hey; He does have 20 years of music composing under his belt.)

This song isn't even meant for EoSD day to be frank but I learned about the day after I finished the stream. Surprising coincidence.

EoSD and by extension DiPP have a fascinating style of composition that ZUN has rarely ever returned to. Well, for me at least. It has more extensive use of the gothic b1/#7 that's present in harmonic minor. This song isn't entirely faithful towards EoSD if you're asking from me as a composer. Rather it's more in line with the take of several other Touhou style composers that do EoSD-styled music such as,

古明地かなで / Kanade -    / yukyuhollow

My life has been topsy turvey lately so don't expect me to completely return and be consistently active after this, as in Youtube uploads. Still need things to sort out. I'm still fairly active in the composing schtick if you're wondering though.

PS: This video is supposed to have an insight portion where I show compositional things that are present in this song, similar to how Reo Music Channel does it but I can't figure out a way to portion that part so that it does not become boring so yeah...
