Why We QUIT This Language Arts Curriculum! | Writing With Skill vs. The Good and the Beautiful LA

Well...very shortly after I made the announcement of what curriculum our family chose to use for 10th grade...we actually decided to drop one of the main tools we were using, and begin using something completely new!

Listen for a chat about how we listened to our 10th grader and took into account the type of student she is, the skills she already has, and what she wants to spend her time on as we re-assessed our choice for a well-rounded language arts curriculum for 10th grade. We've opted to start The Good and The Beautiful High School Level 1 Language Arts, and I share my honest first impressions.

I'm Rachel, a mom of two and the oldest in a family of 8 kids. I'm a second-generation homeschooler who is passionate about education. I'm originally from Michigan, but am living overseas.
