Wheat paste, flour glue etc. is handy in making fireworks because it's an excellent glue when doing Maltese pasting or any pasting on shells, it's easy to apply, and not harmful you can even eat it (it doesn't taste good), but when it dries it gets very hard. It's very easy and cheap to make.
Here is the ingredient list:
25g of wheat flour
260ml of warm water
60ml of cold water
Add the 260ml of warm water to a pot, don't turn on the heat yet.
In another container add 60ml of cold water and mix in 25g or 3 tablespoons of flour. Make sure you mix it good and get rid of clumps.
Now add the cold slurry to the warm water and mix it around, then turn on the heat and keep on mixing until bubbles.
When it starts bubbling keep the heat on for another 30 seconds and then turn it off, leave it to cool down and done.
You can store it up for 1-2 weeks until it goes bad. It might become hard yello but its still useable.
