In this video, I’m fishing a NJ inlet jetty with tautog jigs, using sand fleas I collected and green crabs for bait. Blackfish (also known as tautog) are hard-fighting, rock-dwelling fish that make for an exciting challenge on light tackle. Join me as I show how to catch blackfish on jigs from the rocks, share tips for tautog fishing in New Jersey inlets, and kick off the fall tog season with some jetty fishing action.
