In this episode I have a great day harvesting alone in the wilderness, but it's bittersweet. I pick a lot of mushrooms but I see even more that are too old, and I didn't make it to them on time because of intense weather we've had. Another glorious harvest, but also an end to the "Conica" species in this part of the great beaver wildfire. But maybe not an end to the season here...something green? something grey? something blonde?
Remember to cook morel mushrooms before consuming them.
