This is the most simple and effective radial arm saw dust collection design I could come up with. Without it, my Dewalt 970 was nearly unusable - now it's a real pleasure to crosscut with.
The original fence is unmodified and it's easy to take on and off. You can easily make this with just a radial arm saw and drill!
