Pocket Performance: Madagascar Slim at the Museum's From Africa festival

Guitar ace Madagascar Slim blends American blues-inspired licks and Malagasy storytelling in his February 2021 set for the Museum’s From Africa online musical celebration. Stop by to hear the master musician make his instrument wail, and as an added bonus, learn about his journey from his birthplace in Africa to his evolution into a multiple JUNO Award winner in his adoptive homeland of Canada.

From Africa: A Celebration for Black History Month was presented by the Aga Khan Museum and was guest-curated by Toronto's Batuki Music Society.
