PDP11 still running a furnace

This is a short video showing the page update from a PDP11 which is still running one of the tanks(furnaces) of glass at a factory in Brisbane in QLD. We have a few PDP11's which still look after a lot of the furnace control, including temperatures, gas flow and mixture, electrical heating and many other things. The talk via a serial link to a new PLC system with a custom comms driver. Very cool to see this tech still running. Not sure when this was installed, probably around 30 odd years ago.
