7個女孩準備過聖誕節：全家人在下雪的森林中漫步，為何會演變成一場史詩般的戰鬥？Christmas is Here! Family of 9 Ventures into the Snowy Woods!

作為一個多元種族家庭，我們很感激能夠同時享受台灣和美國的節日。我們最喜歡的節日之一是一聖誕節。這是一個回顧過去一年、反思所有經歷、感恩上帝的供應和指引，以及最重要的是，銘記上帝差遣祂的獨生子耶穌基督來到世上拯救罪人的時刻。

許多人以不同的方式慶祝聖誕節，我們盡量保持簡單和喜樂，以免被喧囂的燈光、嘈雜的環境以及奔波於各種節日活動之間的忙碌所分散注意力。我們知道很多人正是因為這個原因而不慶祝聖誕節，這也沒關係。

無論人們對節日的看法如何，願我們都能充實地度過每一天，仰望耶穌——我們的救主和君王，記住萬物都是藉著祂、為了祂而造的。祂對我們的愛是何等偉大。願我們每天為祂的榮耀而活，也為身邊人的益處而活。

在今天的影片中，我們帶著七個女兒在白雪皚皚的樹林裡漫步，尋找聖誕樹。這是我人生中第一次在野外做這件事。小時候，我們通常會去當地的聖誕樹農場挑選聖誕樹。看看我們這次有沒有成功找到聖誕樹，以及我們在愛達荷州新家為聖誕節所做的所有準備。

在第二部分，我們將與大家分享一個七姊妹家庭的聖誕節早晨是什麼樣子。

As an multi-ethnic family, we are grateful to be able to enjoy holidays from both Taiwan and the USA. One of our favorite holidays is Christmas- a time to reflect on the year gone by, everything that has happened, God’s provision and guidance, and most importantly, to remember that God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to save sinners.

Many people celebrate Christmas in different ways, we try to keep things simple and joyful, lest we become distracted from all the noise and lights and frantic running around to different holiday activities. We know that many don’t celebrate Christmas for this very reason, and that’s ok too. Regardless of one’s view about the holidays, may we live each day to the fullest, with our eyes on Jesus, our Savior and our King, remembering that all things were created through Him and for Him. And His love for us is very great. May each day be lived for His glory, and for the good of those around us.

In today’s video we take our 7 daughters on a stroll through the snowy woods in search of a Christmas tree. This is the first time in my life ever doing this in the wild. When I was growing up we would usually go to a local tree farm to pick out a Christmas tree. See if we were successful in our hunt for a Christmas tree, and all our preparations for Christmas in our new home in wintery Idaho.

In Part 2 we will share with you what Christmas morning looks like in a family of 7 girls.
