Wood Turning - Sapele Ring Box

Some would say turning a lidded box is a simple task, but what I say is it will help you develop the skills you need for bowl turning. I use a gouge, bedan, round nose scraper and a little bit of sand paper and make a pretty nifty turned box. This box is made from a 3" round cutoff from a Sapele bowl I have been working on. This wood really pops when you finish it. Well sit back relax and enjoy your Moonpie Creations presentation.
