It's been a while since I pulled out my Gelli Plate and made a ton on monoprints. I'm hooked on this process. I find it so relaxing and meditative to mix paints on the Gelli Plate. And the textures you can create are amazing.
After getting carried away with making too many gel prints these papers become the perfect monoprints for collage. So I grabbed my art journal and made a collage with monoprints. This becomes the perfect background for a mixed media journal page.
So after trying to find a link to the paper I used I realized I called it the wrong thing. What can I say but I'm a dork sometimes. It's actually called deli paper. Here' a link if you want to experiment for yourself.
