Tail and boom noise fixed by adding extra fin over the other fin,I tried to tell Align they need to make the fin thicker to keep it from fluttering with the increased tail speed from the new gear ratio that they did to give more tail authority,I said o Align that the fin should be at least 2,5mm to 3,mm to stiffen the tail fin up so it wouldn't flutter/Align doesn't really like to take advice or reply.
I know that some of Align's pro pilots will make a collar to CA the spline and torque tube where the butt up against each other so the spline doesn't screw itself into to the torque tube and deform itself/that's not fixing the problem that they know is there,it's just masking it and they still have the hum / noise,Unless you take your heli up to an insane head speed.
Try the double tail fin until Align comes out with a thicker more rigid one/if they ever do.
