A praia é vigiada durante a época balnear, que geralmente decorre de 1 de junho a 30 de setembro. As condições do mar são ideais para a prática de desportos náuticos como kitesurf , windsurf , wingfoil e SUP .

Nas proximidades, é possível visitar as Ruínas Romanas de Tróia, que incluem o maior complexo de salga de peixe conhecido do mundo romano.
