A quick example of how I go about cleaning my metal detecting finds. All collectible metal detecting coins are restored using a process I researched, developed, and perfected over the years. I complete all restorations in-house and have had several straight-grade.
My goal is to return the coin as close to it's original state as possible. As such, I approach each restoration as if the coin was a grading candidate and try to end the process when I believe it still has a chance of receiving a straight grade if submitted.
