Circe by Madeline Miller - Actual Magician Bookshelf Recommends.

There are several novels and works of fiction that truly capture aspects of the practice of magick and witchcraft.

One of the more recent works is Circe by Madeline Miller, a beautiful and evocative book with lines that sometimes take your breath away.

I particularly like the manner in which herbs and spells are dealt with by Miller in the book as well as the characterisations of the deities.
